Great accommodations, clean, quiet and spacious. Murray and Wendy are great hosts going above and beyond expectations. Would highly recommend a stay at their motel.

Thanks for a great stay. Clean, tidy and warm units, great help with our larger group just over for a day from CHCH doing the Tranz Alpine trip. It was very wet, but we were very well looked after, with rides too and from the Railway Station and about town. Thanks very much for making the stay less fraught “was with mum in law…”

We enjoyed our overnight stay in spotlessly clean family unit and was enhanced by great hospiltality by the hosts providing transport from the TransAlpine and even to Shanty town, much appreciated.
Thanks for the holiday and your endless help and attention. We stayed with a group of us some more able than others and found our hosts to be totally attentive, helpful and with humour at all times. Thanks also for the tour bus and car hire people u also put us onto. The units were totally adequate clean and comfortable. Would recommend without reservation thanks Chris ( on behalf of us all)
We enjoyed having you ladies from the Redwood Probus group stay with us and we enjoyed mingling with you all and helping where necessary. Look forward to seeing you again

We stayed at the Sundowner Motel in Greymouth on our recent trip up the coast and would certainly recommend it to others. The location is ideal being very close to the town centre and the rooms are a good size and well appointed with lots of nice little touches. Plenty of parking and there is a laundry setup as well. Quiet too.

A big thank you to Murray and Wendy for making our stay in Greymouth very enjoyable. Loved our units and were very warm and cosy. Murray picked us up from the train station and even took us into town for dinner that night. He also drove us to the station for our return trip back to christchurch. When we got back he even found us a pack of cards for us to enjoy the rest of our night (which we did and hope we did not annoy any of our neighbors with our laughter) Would highly recommend you stay here when you go to Greymouth. We really enjoyed our package tour eg i Site TranzAlpine and Sundowner Motel
Loved our units, spacious and beautifully clean. Very convenient location close to the Railway Station and shopping centre.

We stayed at the Sundowner Motel in Greymouth on our recent trip up the coast and would certainly recommend it to others.
